shady woodpecker


a juvenile great spotted woodpecker, spotted in the woods today. These birds are very shy and like to stay out of line of sight.

Spot has been told he has got to do some time in dog borstal to cure his obsession with blogging ... more of this soon.

    Ok, Spot, I was a English major in college...yet, an American English major...I had to look "borstal" up..."formerly a British reform school for youths considered too young to send to prison" Hmmm! Looks like you'll be busy!(Hope there's not a doggir borstal you'll be sent to in Cornwall!)
