greenfinch by magnolia


neatly combining two harbingers of real spring, the greenfinches are fighting each other and the magnolia is very slowly coming into flower.

    OK, Spot, finally we've hit a commonality!
    We also have magnolia on Long Island, and the large tree right in our backyard has reached its full, yet short, bloom!
    Hmmmm...maybe we have a bit of Cornwall here!
